Dr. Jose Fernandez

Hello, I’m Dr. Fernandez and I give you my warmest welcome to JMJ Family Practice. I graduated many years ago from medical school at the University of Florida although I am a Nole at heart from my undergraduate degree. I have a beautiful family of 9 children, and my faith is an integral part of who I am.

If some days are unavailable for appointments with me, it most likely means I’m attending a conference out of state. The passion I have for continuing my education is present and an essential element in being the doctor my patients need me to be.

St. Therese of Lisieux is a special saint to me, and so one of my favorites quotes is this: “Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love.” I hope that you enjoy your experience here at JMJ and wish a beautiful, full and truthful life. God Bless you!!

Amy Myler, P.A.

HOLA! My name is Amy Myler and I am happy to be a new addition to the JMJ family serving as a physician assistant and the token “gringa.” I received my undergraduate degree from Ave Maria University where I majored in biology and the art of coffee consumption. After which, I went on to Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina for my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

During my rotations in PA school I was blessed to rotate here with Dr. Fernandez and fell in love with the practice and the world of functional medicine. I believe in the importance of treating the patient as whole-mind, body, and spirit. David Henry Thoreau states “A man may esteem himself happy when that which is his food is also his medicine.”

Practicing preventive medicine and searching for the root cause of illness is something I feel passionate about. Thanks to Dr. Fernandez and the rest of JMJ family for allowing me to call JMJ family practice my new home!

Linette DeLeon, A.R.N.P.

Hi! I’m Linette De Leon and I’m beyond blessed to be part of this beautiful family here at JMJ. As a mother, my boys are mi mundo – as well as my dog Chispa! I graduated from South University but my learning has not stopped since I received my diploma.

I’m entirely committed to fitness and enriching our patients’ experiences, so look out for new features that JMJ will be providing! I never knew that the same doctor I worked with at Osceola Regional Medical Center would be the same caregiver I’m learning from and working with here at JMJ.

Dr. Fernandez has been a mentor to me in many ways and I’m excited to be contributing to the medical office that holds a special place in my heart.
